Jack's Christmas Preschool Recital

Sitting on Santa's lap after a very good performance:) Jack asked for a fluffy puppy (aren't 2 enough in our house?!) He also really wanted Santa to meet his baby sister Annabelle, how sweet!

Singing 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause' Jack's class: Claire, Brenna, Jack, Brennen, Nygel, Maiyze, and I don't know the last 2. Jack and Claire are good buddies, but he likes Brennen, too. You wouldn't have guessed that from this recital and all the elbowing the boys did:)

Silent Night

First Professional Haircut

Jack got his first professional haircut (not done by me) the other day. I was really scared of butchering it right before Christmas. He was so good! And so serious:)

Everytime the hairdresser told him he's being such a good boy and holding so still he would give her a huge nod, it was so cute:)

Happy St. Nick's!

As a kid I couldn't wait for St. Nick's. That night I would wake up every hour, checking to see if he'd come yet and there were presents in my shoes:)

As an adult, I am no better - and I have to admit when you have kiddos of your own it is one of the best things ever!

That evening, we had chosen our shoes carefully, cleaned them well, and even talked Jack into sleeping in his own bed because otherwise St. Nick won't know that he is home.

St. Nick got up at 2:30 am to drop some little packages in our slippers, I was wide awake and waiting to see what happened.

I heard some whispering in Jack's sleep (he talks a lot in his sleep)

Then at 3:05 am the little voice says - "St. Nick gave me presents!" In a loud excited whisper

Running to our room - "Daddy, Daddy, Mommy! St. Nick gave me presents!" running back and forth between his room and ours.

We got up and opened presents in Jack's room: he got santa socks, a gingerbread train and little people nativity scene. He was so excited!

I showed him that Annabelle got some stuff, too, but we couldn't wake her quite yet and we'll help her open stuff when she wakes up.

Between 3:30 and 4 am we started building the train:)

When Tink woke up Jack helped her open her presents, the little snowflake, santa socks, velvet pant suit and finally a brush and comb for all that hair!

Jack was just as excited to show her her presents as his own!

I loved every second of it! It was the best to have him so excited that St. Nick didn't forget him and came to give him presents:)

My Baby is 3 Months!

First Day of Preschool

My big guy had his first day of preschool yesterday at Center Stage. He's examining the room...

And he's good-to-go:)

He really seemed to enjoy it and was telling me all about how he 'voted' (voting day), made a police officer hat (Uncle Sam's Hat), danced, sang songs (recited the ABC song very well for me), read a story about Llama's and ate cheese for snack time.

Big 2 Months!

My little bunny is 2 months old now! When she was born she was the length of this bunny, I can't believe how much she's grown! She is now 11 pounds 12 ounces and 23.5 inches!

Halloween

We had a halloween party for Jack and friends at our house on Thursday.

Menu: Bat Chili, Mummy Dogs and Cupcakes

We also had a cake walk and you'd have to walk the plank to get your candy from the CLAW!

(Poor Quincy, I scared the heebee geebee's out of him!)

There was Avatar, Belle, Cinderella, a Pirate and a Witch:)

We had bone diggers and the tissue bounce

And a bean bag toss

Saturday there were crafts at Mama's House

Jack was so excited when he saw the first snow! He couldn't wait to get out there at 7 in the morning!

So much has happened this month! Maternity Leave is a blast:)
Jack finished up karate this month and earned his White Belt!
As part of his final test he had to break a board, he did so awesome!
