Watch Our Garden Grow

Our garden is my pride and joy. I get so excited watching all the little seedlings come up and do so well! Here is a before and after shot with Jack being a big helper and helping me water, he still does, almost every day:)
Before

After

I have parsley and dill, brussel sprouts, radishes, carrots, beets, zucchinni, cucumbers, cow peas, green beans, salad tomatoes, regular tomatoes, egg plant and pumpkins!
They are all flourishing so much!
I pick a big handful of radishes every weekend and am getting ready to build a structure for the zucchinni and cucumbers. It changes so much every day you can actually see them growing!
My grapes and raspberries all look like they will have fruit this year as well!
Next year I'm wanting to add more garden plots and possibly do sweet corn, butternut squash and rhubarb. mmmm!

and a sandbox!
And more projects on the way. After playing all afternoon yesterday we felt like we'd just spent a day in disneyland:)

Trampoline

A dream of mine has always been to have a trampoline. I've been searching and searching and found a great deal for $15! (That was the easy part)
Stephen got a buddy to come over with a backhoe and help dig the hole.
Good thing, too! because of the size of these boulders, we joked that without the backhoe maybe we'd get the hole dug by the time Jack went to college. Jack loved the big tracktor

Jack helped daddy every step of the way, from gathering rocks, putting together the frame, loading dirt in the wheelbarrow. This kiddo sure did work hard for his early birthday present!

Here the boys are putting on the final springs
And believe it or not, this dirt hill is about 1/3 gone from when Stephen started working on it!

The retaining wall, boulders and many rocks that line the bottom and sides of the tramp, all coming from the original hole!

First Jumps!!!
