This year for the Fourth of July I dragged my guys out of bed at 6am so we could see the Hot Air Balloons at 6:30. It was so worth it! There was about 20 balloons on the field, we saw them being blown up and lift off. Jack's favorite was Smoky Mis (Smoky Bear- but he likes saying it in Polish more)
That afternoon we went to the Freedom Festival. Jack's favorite was Spot the fire dog. He gave him eskimo kisses and loved that the dog talked back to him.
Then we had Jack get facepainting. He chose the bumble bee. He was very serious and still throughout the whole process.
Saturday night we lit fireworks- which Jack loved! Here he is with his own sparkler.
