Isn't this the cutest sleeping child?
Unfortunately, that is not how our night went last night. I understand when parents of newborns have sleepless nights, the child has no schedule, they need to be fed every 2 or 3 hours, but when they are almost 2, shouldn't this regulate?Last night:
9:30 p.m. Jack falls asleep and is sleeping in own bed
10:30 p.m. Jack falls out of bed, but am able to comfort him and get him sleeping fairly quickly
11:00 p.m. Jack is having a nightmare. Can not wake him up, or stop his crying until almost 12:30 a.m.
1:30 a.m. Jack decides to wake up and it is time to play
3:00 a.m. I am very tired, Jack still wants to play
3:30 a.m. I go to bed, Jack brings his pillow, comforter, and extra pillows he can find into our bed and plays on top of us
5:00 a.m. Jack finally falls asleep
6:00 a.m. I usually get up to go to Bootcamp. I am wide awake, but decide to try to go back to sleep because have had no sleep
6:30 a.m. Finally am able to go back to sleep
8:00 a.m. I get up to get ready for work
9:00 a.m. Dress sleeping child to get him ready for daycare
Prediction for the day, Jack will not nap or take a short nap and similar story tonight. He sometimes gets off his schedule like this and our nights look like this for a week or two. Agh!!! I have a headache!

Oh how cute! I love the thought of him just crashing in the chair when he could run no longer. I hope by now he's back on schedule. I feel your pain - Peter's had some bad nights recently too.
Sorry to hear you've had one of those nites!!! Get some rest! Mine was last week! Would you get that thingy out of my little nephew's mouth!! Please ;) LOves
